Having set itself the goal of achieving the highest quality, Merenda con Corvi chose to halve the yield per hectare, it follows that the total annual production does not exceed 4500 bottles. Of these 3800 are Barbera and Barbera Foravia and 600/700 of Merlot.

A reduced quantity of Barbera, evaluate every year based on the diverse level of maturation, sees a shorter refinement process and is bottled during the following spring, without passing through wooden barrels. It results in a fresher product and takes the folkloristic name FORAVIA (which translates to “on the side”).
